Five key seniors care recommendations
In advance of the 2018 federal budget, the CMA made a series of recommendations to the federal Finance Committee on increasing funding for seniors care. We’re recommending that the Government of Canada develop a seniors plan that expands long-term care and home care capacity. This plan will improve health care for seniors and others, create new jobs and add billions of dollars annually to our economy. In short, better seniors care is key to a more efficient, effective and equitable health care system for all Canadians. Learn more about our five recommendations below.
