The Canadian Public Relations Society has named the Canadian Medical Association advocacy work in advance of the 2015 federal election as Government Relations Campaign of the Year. This could not have been achieved without the DemandAPlan supporters. Thank you!
DemandAPlan.ca was the centre piece of an election strategy aimed at making seniors care a ballot issue in the Oct. 19 election and persuading political parties to include seniors care in their campaign platforms.
This is the second professional award for DemandAPlan in the past three months. In February, the campaign won a Reed Award in the U.S. for best Canadian online advertising campaign.
DemandAPlan now has nearly 31,000 members who have written 50,000 to parliamentarians demanding a national seniors strategy. Together we continue demanding a plan for seniors.
