Three years ago, we started a journey to put seniors care on our government’s agenda – and on yours. Each day, Canadians are challenged by a health care system that was set up 50 years ago and that has not evolved to meet their current needs, preventing them from getting the best care possible.

Over the past few years, more than 70 organizations representing health providers, patients and community stakeholders have joined forces to form an Alliance for a National Seniors Strategy. Our job? Simple: Get the major political parties to commit to a national seniors strategy involving all levels of governments.

Where are we today? We’ve made progress. But much work is left to be done. Our goal is to have a national seniors strategy in place by 2019.

How can you help? Be part of the journey. Help in the change.
